Finally we have a blue bottle in Berkeley! The exterior glass wall makes the whole place looks spacious and elegant!
Make sure you get a cold brew with no ice, ice takes up 2/3 the glass and you get a dismal amount of coffee for the price you’re paying!
Serving Blue Bottle but the real treat is the breakfast. Avoid the Cubano--it will kill you with fattening pleasure.

New Whole Foods is shiny and new! For the holiday season, check out Stumptown's Winter Cheer cold brew! Haven't seen it anywhere else and it tastes like a holiday cookie.
Fanciest Whole Foods I've been to in all of the landz. They have a taco bar serving up Chicken Tikka Masala Tacos...and it is everything you dreamed of and more

Cool ambience cafe that just opened up. A little dark inside but if you're fine with that you can bring your laptop and work. They have pour over coffee and will soon have pastries
Dimly lit with lots of reclaimed wood and antique ephemera. Pour over coffee was good - better than anything else in the immediate area. A good addition to the Telegraph drag.

Cool indoor space with green walls. For working… while the outlets are all covered, the outdoor space is great for working and quiet enough to take calls. No WiFi =(

The cookies are always fresh out of the oven, with soft and gooey dough combined with cool and delicious ice cream that will have you trying to gobble it up before you even get out the door.

David & co. have put together the complete package, w/ design & product. Great space, friendly service, and completely delicious. Tried the matcha latte, which is simply dreamy creamy!
They have 3 different Hitachino Nest beers, had a great meal here, the flavors of the Ocean Umami, the Uni risotto, and the Calpico sorbet with blueberry were just amazing.
With both Japanese and American influences, the menu spans sushi, miso-cured pork chops, sea urchin fettuccine, and hibachi-grilled beef tongue. It's rustic and refined at the same time.
