The beertenders are earnestly friendly. Do note that their French fries are weirdly stubby all the time, though tasty. The Brussels sprouts are either clutch or a disaster - nothing in between.

One of my favorite places in the east bay. It's a little funny to pay to play boardgames with your friends, but their selection is unbeatable and the staff is very helpful.

Best thing about this place is the staff. Very knowledgeable and friendly. They stock some unusual South African proteas and have the best selection of bamboo that I know of In the Bay Area. Pricey!
