You must indulge in the biscuits at least once. Probably the best thing there. I've heard the Cajun-style eggs Benedict are good. All-in-all it's breakfast food, not too terribly hard to get wrong.

French 75 is good, if you are a guy order it in a rocks glass(looks too girly on a champagne glass), Black Irish Smash is good! For food, chicken and waffles are so good!

Great for a quick breakfast or lunch. The tacos are good, but don't get them if you are in a hurry b/c it takes some time to prepare them. I usually get a ranchero and a fruit or boudin kolache.

Try the homemade chocolates from Strands Cafe's table on the southside of the market just inside the double doors. The pistachio chocolate is divine.

Always excellent espresso drinks (lattes, cappuccinos, etc.), probably best in Baton Rouge. Really good breakfast too! Wish they opened an hour earlier.
You really can't go wrong with anything here. Excellent coffee, soups, atmosphere.
The place has a nice, relaxed atmosphere and the music was on point. They had a great selection of coffees, teas, food, and accessories; the staff was knowledgable and friendly.
