FREE! Cylburn Arboretum is a nature preserve and city park spanning about 207 acres. Explore trails that wind through the woodlands, where you can discover rare trees, native plants and wildflowers.
Lots of neat sculptures in the gardens. Be sure to explore the trails or picnic.
You can follow the trail into the park and end up at the zoo or you can follow it along the Jones Falls River to the train station. I love this part of the trail through the forest of the park.
The trail is now continuous from Druid Hill Park all the way to Cylburn Arboretum.
Lots of huge old oak and poplar trees down in the forest, check out the biggest one down by the stream.
It may say $7 but it's FREE to walk around the trail :)

There are mini fitness stations along the path around the lake. Great place to get your workout on or just enjoy being outside. The Jones Falls Trail connects here.
The best park in the city, imho. Beautiful, big, lots to do, plenty of shade trees, you really can't go wrong.

Great city park. Lots of fields, old trees & some decent trails. If the Herring Run were clean it would be even better. Wonderful place for dogs too.
Fabulous adventure at herring run for new native plants for the "lower 48" to combat some of the less welcome plants. Very knowledgeAble folks there. And adding one more blueberry plant!
Ok, this is not a nature trail, but a beautiful promenade that outlines the entire Bmore Harbor! 7 mile waterfront run from Fort McHenry to Canton! You can pick it up anywhere, just head towards water

Great place! I took my 21 month old for the first time, the water part on the 4th floor was a huge hit, as was the Toddler Trail - though this said for ages 0-3 but was more for ages 6-18 months.
