Some of the best shelling on the island, something about the currents (Sanibel side) Either side of the beach for a spectacular sunset!
Do yourself a favor and come at sunset and sit outside. Buy drinks at the outside bar. Place your food order at the inside bar and wait for your name to be called on the intercom. No waiters outside.
Burgers, BBQ & Beer. Odd establishment at the entrance to South Seas Resort with a game room. It's not a sit down restaurant & food is weak sauce. Good spot for drinking or waiting for trollies!
Definitely overpriced for grocery staples - they know there's nowhere else to go! If you have a car, go to Jerry's on Sanibel or over to Publix in Ft. Myers-better prices.
Kitschy & Goofy. Sort of looks like Pee Wee's Playhouse. Great for families. Food is expensive & desserts are enormous which make for a great sharing assortment.
This Starbucks is just outside the South Seas Resort, it is quiet clean and has a great outdoor seating area. Very calming place to be. Do expect a little higher price than other Starbucks.
Boat rentals are fairly priced, they work, and the quick guidance & advice for novices is solid and friendly.
