Best cafe in newtown by far, breakfasts are tasty and very generous! Make sure you order a fresh apple juice, they are to die for
Chocolate eclairs are supposed the one of the best in sydney and they are great, but don't pass up on some of the other special treats - i especially like the berry tarts :)
Great breakfasts, and good value for money. Its a little quirky and hidden away but good to get of the main strip in king street. Definitely worth checking out
One of the more 'fine dining' style restaurants in Newtown, a bit more intimate and classy. Take advantage of their degustation or three course offers. The spatchcock was delicious!
If you in for a light snack for supper, their fetta and garlic bread is superb! Ask for the sundried tomato on the side, great stuff.
Chicken Guerrero mini-burrito only $6 (add a dollar for guacamole, so worth it) and so delicious! Also plenty filling - I can't finish the regular size! FYI - quesadillas tasty but tiny.
one of the last decent pubs in Newtown - bistro is good, although it has gone down hill a bit in the last year or so. beers still cheap, and free popcorn always goes down a treat
