Malvene: Great subs on fresh bread..frankly unbeatable.

Malvene: Great Chi-dogs...what else do you want?

Malvene: Good lentil soup...tabouli, kibbe
5. Lawrence Fish Market
Malvene: TAKE OUT ONLY and CASH ONLY--its a dive...it is cheap and the sushi is good or it wouldn't be on this list.

Malvene: No belly clams...but lake perch ( not mushy ocean perch) is fabulous---and great,fresh, vinegary coleslaw as well.

Malvene: Nice burgers good guys---each burger is a meal on its own.

Malvene: It's home style Korean cuisine--healthy, fresh good

Malvene: Two words...Oslo Omelet.

Malvene: Their Beefs are good.

Malvene: Try the veal....and the pierogis will be here all week...Great not greasy latkes.

Malvene: Buy a piece or whole one..go home and grill it..cheap perfection.
15. Nhu Lan Bakery
Malvene: Huge sandwiches...cheapy, fresh, and good amount of veggies and meat.
16. Italian Superior Bakery
Malvene: Great bread (get there early) and nice pizza slices served room temperature. Good sauce.
17. Balkan Cafe
Malvene: Cevapcici, Burek, Sarma---Beef sausages no casing,meat/cheese/spinach pies, stuffed cabbage.All delicious, reasonably priced, with weird atmosphere but decent folks running the joint.
18. El Cubanito
Malvene: Cafe con leche...Cubano sandwich...whatta you want?
19. Piatto Pronto
Malvene: Good Italian deli on the Nort side. Meatball sub..very good. Some salads---and soups in winter.
20. Sabri Nihari
Malvene: Mango Lassi...Nihari(duh) and BTW, rice is expensive so stick with the cheap and good standard naan.
