Anonymous, s. • July 18, 2021Right on the sea (get a table on the seaside outdoor seating), great views, excellent quality food (lobster, but even the salad!) and paired beer or wine. Only slight negative was the high price…

Melissa E. • June 30, 2014Sign in first. Order food 5 minutes after that way you are guaranteed a seat once u get ur food. Awesome view and lobster feast!
Dana D. • August 14, 2013The beacon beckons. Take a walk out on the jetty to the lighthouse and watch the ships sail by. Walking paths let you traverse the historic fort and an even better view of Casco Bay.

Visit Maine • May 13, 2011The architectural landmark is the last remaining maritime signal tower (it's not a lighthouse) in the United States. It became a National Historic Landmark in 1971. Best view in Portland is at the top
Kristopher C. • June 18, 2017Incredible views of historic mansions and the working docks that built them. Come here to watch Portland's much revered sunsets.
The Daily Meal • February 22, 2011Ask for a table where you can see the kitchen and the waterfront - both excellent views. Order a dozen oysters, because you'll see none of the usual suspects here.
Stephanie • November 2, 2015There's not a bad view in the house. Hit the balcony bars when you can, much less crowded.

Daud A. • August 6, 2013Great food and presentation. Good amount of vegetarian options for a pub menu. Long beer list. Seated next to a second floor window we had a great ocean view.

Alex S. • October 5, 2018Classic on-the-dock lobster spot. Sit at the bar and enjoy a cold beer, great views, and lobsters and fishes and other swimmy stuff.
David C. • December 31, 2023The hotel has been completely renovated in the last few years. It has the best views in the city, bar none! Only a 10 minute walk to the Old Port hot spots. And the elevators finally bypass the lobby!
