Laura M. • June 16, 2013Good coffee, pleasant web surfing atmosphere, great pastries both sweet and savory, BAGELS, day old goods. Love the Rooster's Comb and the Spinach and Feta Croissant.
Jennifer B. • September 21, 2019Great atmosphere, great food, cute little shop. Such a good addition to U Village.
Sheri H. • August 20, 2015I've had the chicken fried steak, yummy. This trip I had the Oregon Berry French Toast. Tip: order the half size. It's still 4 thick slices of homemade bread. It's drenched in berries and sauce.
Scot O. • October 24, 2019Excellent frybread especially the pulled pork tacos. Get the seasonal jam on the sweet frybread.
Daniel M. • April 22, 2016If you want always pleasant service in a "local" shop, Jakes is the place to go. Victrola coffee & espresso, local baked goods & bubble tea!
Josh H. • August 25, 2022I got the special the Heart Beet Latte. It was cute and tasty. It had a spiciness to it which I really enjoyed.
Gilad G. • September 6, 2013Delightful little spot, best cafe in the UDist, maybe all of Seattle. Charming atmosphere, excellent coffee, solid playlist, delicious sandwiches. Ugly Mug 4 life!
kelby j. • March 7, 2010Superb dining experience. Highly recommend the mushroom medley and JaJa dishes. The stable Nutella + Bananas is the perfect way to top of this crepe experience!
Katen B. • December 1, 2017Great coffee, the black bean breakfast burrito is incredible, the granola bars and breakfast cookies are must-haves every time I stop by Cafe Javasti
Michael F. • May 20, 2011The roasted tomatoes MAKE the falafel sandwich. Spiced couscous and tapenades to die for.
Rob M. • February 23, 2016Tasty espresso and all day breakfast at student prices. Also great wifi and plenty of seating. What's not to like?!
Maryna U. • October 12, 2020Top notch coffee and wonderful owners. Great ambiance and also a great place for working.
BiGG G. • February 25, 2012Prices and food are great here even though its hospital food. Starbucks connected to here is Epicness
jennif p. • August 4, 2011Iced americano and the blueberry bagel with cream cheese are my favorite. And they add 50cents when you pay by credit card if the amount is less than 5bucks.
Katie Y. • July 23, 2015Gets really busy but their iced vanilla lattes and mochas are delicious! Same with the hot coffee, also love the Reuben sandwich with a pickle. They also serve beer!
Jessica P. • November 15, 2016Best coffee in the area. There are plenty of tables and it's never too crowded to work. The squash bread is amazing 😍
Scot O. • July 5, 2022Good, not spectacular, Wi-Fi (which is actually a hidden network which should reduce congestion). Bunch of plugs too. Friendly staff that are knowledgeable about both the cafe stuff and the magazines.
Kaitlin • February 29, 2020Come for just the interior alone, which is stunning. My cortado was great, the quiche was yum, and we also stuck around for happy hour and $6 wells, so what’s not to love?
