Kathryn H. • March 24, 2014Came across this park on accident while walking to St. Louis Cemetery. The park is beautiful & very well maintained. A quiet escape from the craziness of the French Quarter!
Gerald W. • May 3, 2019Beautiful park, with free concerts there at 5 PM on Wednesdays during the spring.
Robert B. • April 1, 2013A good photo op for the cathedral but a ton of street performances worth avoiding.
Brandi B. • September 10, 2019They’ve done so much work in the River front. Very beautiful, relaxing and a lot cleaner
Plwm B. • March 24, 2016This park has some of my favourite views of New Orleans. It's nice and quiet too
Tim H. • February 21, 2014Excellent park if you need an afternoon off from day-drinking. Don't miss Bird Island; it really lives up to the name.
Ariana V. • June 9, 2017Beautiful park! Get a frozen cafe au lait to-go from Cafe Du Monde and sit on a bench in the park to enjoy it
mark m. • January 20, 2012This park would be perfect if u could get a wifi signal in it (but alas, u can't :(
Mark H. • May 29, 2021A beautiful location and there are usually street vendors selling water at a reduced price so you can spend your money on booze.
Andrew H. • February 4, 2014if you cover up enough child molestations they will name a plaza after you
Ryan E. • November 12, 2018Park behind the Zoo along the river. Perfect for sunbathing, crawfish boils, baseball games and birthday parties. Tip: Closer to the entrance tends to be more college-aged so drive a little further.
Kristen D. • December 6, 2010Great off-leash dog park in the quarter. Friendly people and dogs. Water is available year-round.
HISTORY • April 5, 2010Created in 1994, the park celebrates the origins & evolution of jazz, America’s most widely-recognized indigenous music. The park preserves resources associated with the origins of jazz in New Orleans
Carol R. • January 2, 2012Please sign the petition that Mark and Randi and Julie and Val created regarding the dog park.:-)
