Michael M. • January 29, 2015My favorite noodle style of any ramen place I've been to in the Bay Area. They'll bring you extra after you finish (kaedama) if you ask, but save some broth. 'Regular Spicy Garlic Pork' was great
Vic Z. • January 7, 2015Calamari is pretty amazing. If you like eggplant, I recommend the Dengaku Miso. Black sesame ramen is spectacular.
Andy W. • April 24, 2023Different type of ramen - oil based rather than soup based. The noodle is very al dente with a ton of bite. Worth trying.
Stefanie W. • August 16, 2010Try the Champon or Sutamina ramen, beef teriyaki bento (best I've had!) and the Gyudon - can't go wrong with any of these.
Justin K. • May 15, 2019I have been here multiple times and can confidently say the noodles are consistently delicious. I usually order Biang Biang noodles but the ramen is also good. Try the spicy cumin lamb served dry.
Justin K. • April 13, 2022The Tonkatsu broth is my favorite but the Shoyu broth is a close second. You have the option to pick between thin or housemade thick noodles. Make it a combo for +$6 and get a mini donburi and salad.
Michael S. • October 1, 2014The lunch set for $9.50 is awesome. Ramen + rice bowl + 2pc fried dumplings. I really liked the miso ramen and tonkatsu. Big portions! Cash only during lunch.
Stephen G. • November 6, 2017Nice and rich pork ramen. Simple but pure. Also got the chicken katsu. While tasty it cooled off quickly, probably because there was enough to feed 4 people. Portions here are HUGE (not in a bad way).
Chris B. • October 29, 2010They have amazing ramen here but is served only during lunch.
Johnny A. • July 25, 2015Ramen Yamadaya is a great quick place for some hearty ramen. I recommend getting Gyoza and salad to make a full meal.
YR W. • July 26, 2017Katsu is very high quality. Spicy curry ramen is the best ramen I've had in the US.
Jessica C. • October 11, 2011personally, I love the bento specials that can be easily missed if you don't look up at the board!
Lils 2. • August 28, 2014The corn beef and hash is amazing. The horseradish adds so much flavor. With a side of waffle that was mouthwatering.
Matt G. • July 27, 2014This place might look like a dive, but the food here is amazing. We had fish in tomato sauce and onions and it was cooked very well, light and delicate. This photo is of the beef rice with eggs.
