- The second main airport in Bangkok, nothing too fancy but at least has all the basic shops.Theres no metro connection but you can always take the handy bus and get in Victory Monument, enjoy BKK!Upvoted 3 days ago
- To get here from downtown on the cheap: Take the train to Mo Chit BTS station (cost ~40 Baht depending on where you start). Then take A1 or A2 bus for 30 Baht. Easy peasy.Upvoted 5 days ago

- The Goh SistersJanuary 2, 2018Taking local bus ( A1,2,3 ) to city centre is cheap and takes about 30 mins, depending on where you alighting.
- Bangkok old airport. The sad thing about this place is that it’s inaccessible by BTS/MRT. You will have to go through hell bargaining with taxi drivers. Next, locals’ hell : parking lots. Crowded.

- VenothJune 13, 2016An airport that's much more convenient compared to Suvarnabhumi International in terms of crowd management. Taxi fares are not much too. Quite a number of eateries inside the terminal as well.
- Magic Food Court at the old building (walk through a left sidewalk beside 7-11 @ terminal 2) — They're cheap, fast and delicious! 😋
- Andrew PandrewApril 1, 2019Clean and efficient. Separate passport control line for Chinese tourists. Easy and cheap to get a Grab to any exit on the arrivals level. Lots of money changers and SIM cards at good prices.

- SongFebruary 1, 2019Sooooooo many Mainland Chinese tourists here, the airport even has dedicated lanes for them to clear immigration (which are much appreciated actually as you are away from their rowdiness 😅)
- Nga Doan VuDecember 6, 2014Free wifi available. Get log in details at the tourist information booth. Lunch at Magic Food is a good and economic choice. 500m to the right of airport building
- Great domestic terminal. Good food choices. Clean toilets. Paying lounges available if you want to have some peace and quiet.
- The 7-11 outside the international departure terminal is awesome for last minute snacks, drinks or even cup noodles. Many come here to smoke too and you will see lot of PRC visitors here.
- Franco Marinari AccianiJanuary 3, 2019A mess... If you fly Air Asia and you have a flexi ticket don't need to queue before check-in. Go straight to check-in counter dedicated and ask the assistant to open the way.
- Marwajih MarullohDecember 17, 2014Don't forget to bring your pen with you, it's a nice country, easily get your On Arrival Visa and have fun. They have a long queue of taxi passengers but it doesn't take your time so much #Thailand
- Local Fresh Fruit (eg Strawberry, health food) from Royal Project atTerminal 1 open till 8pm. Urara Orange -fresh juice on second is located floor in front of Silom Village -it came in orange itself
- Dogan EskinatAugust 24, 2018Make sure to arrive 2 hours in advance for international flights. It's a smaller airport, but check-in can take up to 30 minutes (Air Asia) and the passport control can take up to 15 minutes.

- Nan LinJune 7, 2014If you're looking for good food without the airport prices. On floor 2 near front middle of the airport follow signs to arimi hotel. In the concourse here's a lunch buffet for 120 baht - delicious.

- The newer terminal 2 (one floor above the departure hall) has a nice big food court called Magic Garden. Lots of food choices here

- Arthur SangsukhdeeDecember 1, 2014For cheap Thai food in the airport go look for the Magic Food court. You have to go to the first floor, walk past Terminal 1, go outside and keep walking till you get to the parking lot.

- Bart LapersJanuary 12, 2015Don Mueang International Airport is considered to be one of the world's oldest international airports and Asia's oldest operating airport. It was officially opened by Thai Airforce on 27 March 1914.
- One of the best reasons to fly LCCs in SEA. Land in DMIA, where's it's less busy than Suvarnabhumi (on a good day). Older, compact layout also means less walking from aerobridge to exit.
- Avoid arriving at this airport on peak periods as there'll be tons of people at the immigration, belt, and taxi. Use car service apps like Grab so you don't have to wait in neverending queue.

- Easy to navigate and quick to get through, but a bit plain in terms of food and shopping options. More of a clean, nuts and bolts airport.

- On arrival, go up to departure hall level to get a taxi. This will save you 50thb taxi counter fee. Do rmb to check with driver to use meter.
