Best amusement park for roller coasters period! Weekday visit would be optimal. There's a deal now for unlimited drinks when you attend. Stay hydrated and cool throughout your stay. MF and TDC all day
Cedar Point has a ton of rides (esp. coasters), but it's also super crowded on weekends and holidays. If you want to minimize your time in the queue, spring for Fast Lane. Pricey, but worth it.
My personal favorites are Millenium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, Maverick/Gatekeeper, Magnum/Gemini(In that order). Raptor and Rougarou aka Mantis are also pretty good but there isnt one bad ride there
best roller coasters in the world live here!!! Awesome place for the thrill seekers to go to! Had so much fun and the fast passes are definitely the way to go! Gate keeper is my all time favorite!
Great park. They tore down the space needle, my favorite ride. Prices for food in the sit down restaurants are fair priced, but the walk up stands are laughably high. The souvenir cup is a great deal.
An amazing place to spend the day with friends, family, or both! There is plenty to do for riders and non-riders. If you might consider a water ride, make sure to pack some extra clothes.
Check out the Chickie & Pete’s restaurant and bar inside the park! In the pic we got the BLT sandwich, Chicken parm sandwich and a bucket of yummy sweet potato fries! Sooo good! 👍👍
My fav coasters were Millennium Force, VALRAVN, and the Dragster! Get the Cedar Point App to stay up to date on the status of all the rides and for directions!
The Gatekeeper is legit. It's new so the ride is smooth, it's right over the water and it's really fast. The best part about it though is that the line seems to move very very fast.
If you get on Top Thrill Dragster ad the weather is perfect you can get stuck at the top! Then a mechanic has to take an elevator to the top and give you a push! I would probably have a heart attack!
By far and wide... the best theme park I have ever been to, and that includes Disney! To top it off, get there before the park opens for the playing of the National Anthem!
Well, I miss you so much! Cedar Point is the most grateful to have fun and get excited both ways! Also visit Soak City too! Get the 2 day tickets; go first to Cedar Point til noon then head to S.C.
The BEST amusement park in AMERICA - Period. The rides are always competitive with the world in terms of speed, length, and scare factor. Also the food is outstanding. A must for coaster-heads!
Lot of great coasters; Start at the back of the park and work your way forward. Don't lose your keys on the maverick, it has some fast turns! High five the other train on Gemini!
Clean park, good rides. Lines & Lines and it was very hot. get the soda cup with the free refills. worth the money. Bring lunch in a cooler. Hamburger was 9.00 and I had 5 kids with me.
If you are staying at a CP resort or are a Platinum pass holder, the gates open 1 hr before the general public. Head straight to the Dragster and ride twice, once in front, then in the back. Killer!
Get the fast pass if you are going on the weekend. It's worth the price. You move right to the front of the line. People who have been standing in line get mad but oh well.
Be there early and if you have the chance, buy the express plus so you can ride all the roller coasters as much as you want. The park is awesome and pretty big.
Cedar Point's newest coaster opens in May. The GateKeeper will redefine the park's entrance and offer an exciting experience through rolling flyover maneuvers that sweep riders over the crowds.
Back of the park first for shorter lines and do not miss all the things that make Cedar Point unique besides the world famous roller coasters. Live entertainment gives a nice break from the thrills. Read more
Best friggin coasters ever! Rode them all n had the time of my life. Hands down best park for coaster riding thrills! I'm dying to go back ASAP. Loved it really awesome memories!
Why wait in 2 hour long lines, splurge for the Fast Lane (Plus) ticket. More time riding, less waiting. The new Steel Vengeance doesn't use it so you will still have to stand in line, bring your H20!
Carly is an idiot. I've never had a problem with understanding ride workers and I've had season passes for four years straight. You want a map? They have piles of them at every entrance.
I love Halloweekends, it's my favorite time to go but tickets, no matter what time of year, are getting ungodly expensive and $20 just to park is highway robbery.
Did you know? Cedar Point opened in 1870 -it had a beer garden, dance floor and bathhouse. Visitors were ferried over by steamboat for 25 cents. Today it is the 2nd oldest amusement park in N. America Read more
The lockers by the Dragster,Millennium and On the trail are all pay per use but they unlock after like 2 hours..making you pay again. Leaving your things to get possibly get stolen. Use all day ones!
Ride the Top Thrill Dragster first; after this, there is no more fear for any other ride. The Dragster will have taken all your fears from you & you will walk away knowing you have conquered & won!!
Two different types of fast lane passes now...starting at $85. they've gotten too greedy for me. They can count on one less Michigan family to spend a couple grand a year here.
Take everything you need before locking the rest in the $2 lockers then leave it there the whole day. Otherwise you'll be paying a $2 surcharge for every Dragster and Millennium Force ride!
Enter the park early and get on the popular rides like millennium force and gatekeeper first. Thn when the park opens rush over to the dragster. Barely queued for any of the rides
Loved Gatekeeper..after 8 no line!! But its early in season. Waited in line for Dragster 45 min then shut dwn for mechanical issues..ddnt get back in line..too touchy of a ride for such a long wait.
