You're less than an hour's train ride away from Center City Philadelphia. In the meantime, check out all of the things to do, places to stay and spots to eat in Philadelphia. Read more

The first and last cars on NJT commuter trains are quiet cars. That means take your loud phone calls and conversations to any other cars except those two.

Nice station to train fan. Please be careful of the crowds transferring from SEPTA regional rail to NJT and back.

Pizza grill plain+Buffalo chicken slices were *really* good...thin crust, good toppings! Way better than the McD option, usually crowded with homeless folks, at the other end of the station.

The Wallenberg exit is where the main passenger pick up area is. Walnut is a bit sketch but that's where cabs are.

Easy connection between NJ Transit and SEPTA trains. If you want the River Line you need to go outside and cross the road.

Walk across the street and check out the weird scale houses (with Buddha inside) and sculptures in front of that one building. Also, walk around in the graveyard. It's really pretty.

Definitely grab an iced coffee sit near the Dunkin Donuts in the waiting area. Some sketchy lurkers tend to hang towards the entrances and its a bit humid indoors.

If you have an active SEPTA transit pass (weekly or monthly), the regional SEPTA ride from Trenton to Philly is free on weekends!

Come here a lot? In the machines for NJT, swipe the credit/debit card you normally use. Your recent trips will appear saving time for you to catch that train!!!!

Protip: Drink up; the consumption of alcoholic beverages is permitted on all NJ Transit trains! Open container? Not a problem!

Creepers about after 8pm, beware eye contact. Nice police presence though so don't worry.

Unreliable service between NJ Transit and Septa since Amtrak trains take priority, particularly on Sundays. If you miss your transfer, it's an hour wait for the next train.

With Amtrak's reliable delays, there's always time to enjoy the new offerings at the Trenton Transit Center. Best bet: Pizza Grille. Good slices and decent sandwiches.

Completely redone station! Easy to navigate...$15.50 gets you a one way ticket to NYC and if you grab an express train...the trip is only an hour! 1& 1/2 on a local isn't bad either...cya later Philly

On a cold day, hang out in the vestibule near the exit for the RiverLine. Super toasty--just don't block people who are entering/exiting!

If you're ever in a rush for NJT, there are sales kiosks on the tracks too - most people wait in line at the front entrances.

You BETTER spend money and stamp that $1.50 Riverline ticket or the Sky Blue Shirts will get you, NO EXCEPTIONS! Those fare enforcement officers get excited when they catch people without tickets.

If u are coming from 1N and want to park make a right at the light and left at the next light. Don't go strait in the direction of the drop off point.

New cell phone charging stations have been installed throughout the station. No more having to sit on the floor. But keep an eye on it or someone might run off with it.
