The first and last cars on NJT commuter trains are quiet cars. That means take your loud phone calls and conversations to any other cars except those two.
Pizza grill plain+Buffalo chicken slices were *really* good...thin crust, good toppings! Way better than the McD option, usually crowded with homeless folks, at the other end of the station.
Walk across the street and check out the weird scale houses (with Buddha inside) and sculptures in front of that one building. Also, walk around in the graveyard. It's really pretty.
Definitely grab an iced coffee sit near the Dunkin Donuts in the waiting area. Some sketchy lurkers tend to hang towards the entrances and its a bit humid indoors.
Come here a lot? In the machines for NJT, swipe the credit/debit card you normally use. Your recent trips will appear saving time for you to catch that train!!!!
Unreliable service between NJ Transit and Septa since Amtrak trains take priority, particularly on Sundays. If you miss your transfer, it's an hour wait for the next train.
With Amtrak's reliable delays, there's always time to enjoy the new offerings at the Trenton Transit Center. Best bet: Pizza Grille. Good slices and decent sandwiches.
Completely redone station! Easy to navigate...$15.50 gets you a one way ticket to NYC and if you grab an express train...the trip is only an hour! 1& 1/2 on a local isn't bad either...cya later Philly
You BETTER spend money and stamp that $1.50 Riverline ticket or the Sky Blue Shirts will get you, NO EXCEPTIONS! Those fare enforcement officers get excited when they catch people without tickets.
Ringing in 2014 in Times Square? SEPTA trains will depart from Trenton (passengers can take early-morning NJT trains from New York to Trenton) at 3:30am, 5am & 6am.
New cell phone charging stations have been installed throughout the station. No more having to sit on the floor. But keep an eye on it or someone might run off with it.
