Early morning is a great time to be here. Check in 20 minutes before your train arrives and still have plenty of seats in the Waiting Room

You can take 2 carry-ons and check 3 bags in for free. Great for college kids with lots of stuff!

Remember your parking stall number for the parking pay stations. Charlottesville is a small station.. .easy in and out.

If you're heading to DC or points north and can leave later in the morning, I recommend taking the NE Regional instead of the Crescent. Quieter and more space.

Taking the train in Virginia rocks. The Northeast Regional goes from Lynchburg to Boston and is cheaper than driving!
