"Mussels are great to share. Cassoulet is delicious, but the pasta puttanesca is v oily. Lovely service and great little spot!"

"More expensive than the average dim sum place, but better quality. Careful with what you order, prices can be steep for higher-value items (think $12-14). Standard items like siumai/hargau are $6. 🥟"

"Surprisingly great, affordable and well-sized Japanese and Korean food. Get the hot bowl bibimbap and the seafood pancake is 👌🏼"

"Probably the most solid coffee option on the UES. Gorgeous interiors, delicious (Aussie) coffee, and great terrace. Gets crowded on weekends!"

"The Assam Laksa is great (packs some 🔥 tho, so be warned!). Decent Malaysian food and relatively inexpensive. Get the roti, the char koay teow and the Teh Tarik (“pulled tea” with condensed milk)"

"Look, there's lots of good things. The dry noodles with brisket is great, for example. But you CANNOT GO PAST the chicken tray, which is good for up to two people. Add potato noodles, trust me."
