You can usually get in free if you stand around the gate on the north end of the field. After a bit, when students leave to imbibe, most don't come back. Security will hand you free pass.
on the west end of the quad, there's a little wooded creek that provides quiet and seclusion from the crowds. good place to read & not be seen.
make sure you look hip & hit Boulder's nicest place to imbibe with good-looking people. people like myself usually don't feel comfortable. but is nice for, say, New Years Eve or special occasions.
