By far the best quick Mediterranean influenced quick eat place in the Washington, D.C. Area. Although its menu is very different from cava's restaurant menu, it incorporates items such as crazy feta.
The new, updated Iron Gate is better than ever with Chef Anthony Chittum in the kitchen. Don't miss the sesame-crusted grilled feta or the crispy sweetbreads if they are on the menu when you go.
You can mix and match the spreads and the meats. Go nuts. I recommend a bowl with basmati rice, chicken, feta, tzatziki and a pile of fresh mint. Yum.
