I loved Wunder Garten! It's such a cool space, complete with human sized chess! Their drinks are also super cheap for a great quality. I loved their cider, only $6!
Great place to have a beer with friends. Few options for food, though - they only have a food truck with burgers and fries.
Wonderful beer selection + ciders. Grab drinks in the large bar area while you wait for your table. Absolutely order Mac and cheese you won't regret it. They also have cheese a la carte to go.
Tables at the front and outside are seated by the hostess. Bar seating at the back. Gluten free option ciders available.

Strongbow cider on tap = Ace
Strongbow cider is awesome and on tap. The spinach dip and onion rings are great and filling snacks. The calamari is kind of chewy though.
Get the strongbow cider if you like getting iced.

Best neighborhood bar in the District. Homemade ketchup, local ingredients, and ample beer and spirits lists. Also, they've got an amazing brunch that no one ever really talks about.
