Duane Taylor: Great seasonal menu with a lot of good lunch and picnic oriented foods that change daily. Loved the brisket sandwich (which is a special sometimes) and also the house-made pickles.
Richard Bloom: Try everything. Chill community table by the front. Great pour over coffee and 4 star restaurant quality dinners to go.
Anna John: Caramelite bars, Rochers, Breakfast Burrito = the truth. Best breakfast burrito in D.C,. and they serve it 'til 4pm on weekends. Perfect ratio of eggs/excellent cheese/potato, etc. Fantastic espresso.

Amira: Get the brisket sandwich. Awesome.
Marc: WashPo #8 Best DC BBQ '19: Sauced brisket is smokier, and more succulent, than the stuff found at much larger joints. His ropy strands of pulled pork, at once sweet and tangy, are just as good.
Derek Fromson: Tasty BBQ brisket sandwich, pulled chicken, baked beans, corn pudding and corn bread, among many tasty sides. Good choices for the kids too. Only downside is cramped space. More conducive to take out.
Greg Uhas: Get the lunch special! Sandwich side dessert and drink for 9.89 total. I suggest the brisket
Matthew Hurst: order barbeque and eat peanuts while you wait
Jon P: The food does go fast but it is very fresh. Try the brisket sandwich with an Old Fashioned just a good combination

Ashley Lempka: this is a really good if you're in DC and automatically want to be transported to Brooklyn.
