Bradley Shende: Keenan the barkeep makes a perfect classic Manhattan if you're interested.
Amy Graff: Found this dark, sexy apothecary-theme cocktail bar via NY Times. Drinks ("prescriptions") are potent and sorted by predominant flavor notes. Try rosemary gimlet, anything with that lapsang tincture.
Ashley Mowrey: The bartenders are laid back, friendly, and have skills. Best gimlet I had in Vancouver. They have a unique drink list, tried a couple, definitely some flavor combos I've never tried. Left drunk 👍🏻
Wong Keekee: Try the salted caramel old fashion, but should definitely get a coffee to go w the ooeeyy gooey goodness!!
David Prestidge: Perhaps the most perfectly and precisely poured pour overs I've encountered and the old fashioned doughnuts are superb (though of the devil; nothing that good could be good for you)
Joanna Kolskog King: The doughnuts are killer. Worth going to the Main St location just to have the Lucky's doughnuts. I recommend either the Old Fashioned or Pistachio

Natalie Marioni: A Vancouver Tradition. Not for those on a budget. Old school wood and leather bar with live piano man. Sink into a comfy chair and enjoy the atmosphere.
The Province: After trying a few concoctions, I realize these bartenders are brilliant mixologists and that the bar is in fact a lab for their wonderfully creative drinks. Read more.
Parker Whittle: Best place for hundreds of miles to get a Sazerac. Made in batches by the proprietor to exacting specifications.
Dian P: One of the best wine bars I've visited in Vancouver; relaxed atmosphere not too pretentious. Great Italian restaurant next door; perfect location to catch a show at Orpheum or Vogue after.

Kate Imbach: best cocktail bar I found in Vancouver for speakeasy / craft cocktails
Tiffany D: Don't miss the Raw Bar in the Lobby Lounge for late night sushi. Ask the chef for his recommendations.
Joseph Thornley: If you plan to stay here, be sure to book a harbour view room. Classic vistas of Stanley Park, Burrard Inlet and the mountains to the north. This is the Vancouver of the tourist brochures.
