The chorizo was delicious!!! Also, the wine store next door is owned by the same people, so you can buy a bottle and bring it into Despaña to enjoy with your tapas with no additional fee!
The Picante Bocadillo is delicious and super authentic (or as close as you can get to it). They also sell Spanish import and great Spanish wines (next door).

Raw and sandwich oysters are amazing. As are the fries and the summer lettuce. Avoid the shrimps, they are kinda limp. Oh and Greek white wine, real nice too.

Amazing food, easy vibe, well curated wine list...but the too-obvious playlist needs to shuffle itself to a less intrusive beat. Soundgarden are not a good match with Sangiovese.

The atmosphere was fantastic. We had the octopus which was very good, a pasta with lamb which was great and a fabulous branzino with grilled vegetables. Also a very nice wine selection.
