riley starship: super cool pop culture exhibits! there's a lot of care put into the exhibits and decor. you can tell this is a museum by and for people who love music, film, and the arts.
HISTORY: The museum takes you through music history by immersing you in nearly 80,000 artifacts including photos, sound archives, costumes and musical instruments from notable artists.
Windows Live Photo Gallery: On the southeast exterior of the EMP, where the monorail comes out of the building, get the Space Needle in the upper left corner, in between the tracks. Wait and shoot, as the monorail exits the EMP.

HISTORY: With over 60,000 visitors every year, it is one of Seattle's most popular museums, & preserves & promotes the history of the Pacific NW. The museum houses a vast collection of artifacts from the area.
Jesse Harris: Goose turds here are amazing. Nearly stepped on one inside the museum :-(I still however picked up a membership, the museum is fantastic!
Christopher Jarzabek: Beautiful vantage point for South Lake Union, especially at sunset. The boats and boat workshop add interesting features. Need to go back and explore more!
⛵Captain Jack⛵: Free boat rides every Sunday rain or shine! Sign ups start at 10:00 am and first boats go out about 12:00pm with last boats heading out at 4:00pm. As always, the coffee is on and it's also free.
HISTORY: More than 100 historical boats are docked here & you can climb aboard to learn all about their history from a well-informed staff. Talk to craftspeople currently restoring many classic wooden boats.
Nas Benali: Fun for all ages. Plenty to do if you decide to spend the day there. Great food at the food court. Wonderful butterfly farm and awesome IMAX theater.
HISTORY: This hands-on museum features IMAX movies and laser shows, plus ever-changing exhibits that include displays on dinosaurs, whales, robots and much more.
NASA: Visit the Willard Smith Planetarium for shows, star parties, and information about the universe. Don't forget to visit the Pacific Science Center's Science on a Sphere, located just outside the doors. Read more.
