From the ambiance to the beverages to the food, this place is a must! Sal is one of the best bartenders in San Jose, he makes all his drinks to perfection. Everything I've tried is damn good!
Ok food but I hate living in San Jose
Braised short ribs. Very bland needs flavoring... Salt or pepper or ketchup or steak sauce something anything!
Crab melt sandwich is amazing
Enjoyed a hearty breakfast with my wife. I had the biscuits and gravy and she had a spinach and mushroom omelette. Both were large portions.
Remind me never sit at the bar in front of the kitchen. You get lost amidst the prep work for DoorDash. Next time I’ll go back to the regular bar. Bartenders do a much better job. Terrible@experience

Go to the bar, order drinks and an appetizer, and ask for your dinner to go. Skip the dinner wait, and still enjoy the atmosphere, awesome iced tea and bread. Mmm that bread.
Love chocolate? Want to try something different than cheesecake? Go for the Linda's Fudge Cake, it's one of the best chocolate cakes I ever had!

I've been going here for breakfast for over 5 years now and have yet to get something I don't like. Best items are the Swedish pancakes, scrambles with pepper plant, pumpkin pancakes, and OJ & Coffee!

My usual go-to for diner breakfast when I'm visiting. Inexpensive and good. This place has a bevy of "the usuals" who have been coming here for years!
Don't expect greasy spoon. Great food. Chicken friend steak and eggs has real chicken garvey. It's delicious but if you except white, sausage gravy don't.
