SFGate Manager: Go for the generous-sized, not to mention reasonably priced, martinis; stay for the convivial atmosphere and sing-alongs of show tunes, jazz and contemporary standards in the back piano room.
Coco: Peach fuzz is my fav martini in SF. Relaxing and imitate vibe. Good service as well.

Lindsay Eyink: Beautiful Persian mural on the wall, a cool wooden round bar, and one of the few places that would make a proper Hendricks Martini before all the fancy cocktail places showed up. Old school SF!

Kimberly Pye: Come for the martini (which is a martini + extra martini -- like a milkshake for crazy people!); stay for the really good music (and order another martini).

The Bold Italic: The Tadich's filet mignon is top drawer – this is an atypical spot where medium rare actually means medium rare-though the sea bass is a close second. This spot demands a two-hour lunch and a martini. Read more.
Jack Bowen: Got a Gibson martini, clam chowder, and the pet take sole filet. Haven't enjoyed a meal that much in a long time.
