Despite the initial feeling of excessive hipsterism, the space is spacious and airy, coffee best in the city, fun people watching, nice baristas (yes, really).

Stop by the slow bar, especially if Bradley is there. Such a treat -- great coffee and conversation. Ask about the origins of various beans, relationships with farmers, anything coffee/tea related.

I tried the latte and the iced coffee. Both were great, but the iced was a little harsh and citrusy. The latte was smooth and caramelly, completely perfect. If I go again I'll get the latte.

Known for their signature drink, the Snowy Plover (a sweet iced espresso soda drink with homemade whipped cream), Andytown is a charming shop serving up great coffee and fresh-made scones and muffins.
A natural Ethiopian was featured as their single origin espresso when I visited. Easily the best cappuccino I've had in San Francisco.
