The verdura lasagna is amazing (all the lasagnas are wonderful but verdura is my favorite). For a change from lasagna try the ravioli alla romana... And get some bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
Quite an amazing menu for lunch, their specialty, with a dinner menu 'to go' from 3:30-6:30.

Most authentic Italian trattoria I've seen in Bay Area. All staff 99% Italian, food is tasty and last not least - service is pleasantly attentive and full of Italian soul.

It's one of the top 5 cafes in SF. It's 40 years old, the view from the window its beautiful (Saint Petter & Paul's Church) and the service is excellent. Definitely the best choice in Little Italy

We were out in San Francisco today and visited Pier 39. We had Lunch at Swiss Louis Italian Restaurant. We had Crab Enchiladas, Caprese Salad, Fish and Chips and all was very Tasty.
Everything here was amazing the view (sunset, both the GG Bridge & Alcatraz), food, beer & wine, service - ask for Dion what a lovely, lovely man!! A real treat!!
Food is nice, a little pricey but ok. You have to try any dessert! Expensive, yes, but delicious!! Tiramisu and chocolate mousse cake are incredible. Nice views of the sea lions too.

I don't eat at any other Italian restaurant in North Beach, this is the spot. Chicken parmigiana, ravioli both suggested dishes.
If you order a main course, not "primi" it usually includes pasta and also gives you the opportunity to upgrade to a caesar salad for two dollars which is well worth it.
The best Caesar salad I have ever had. The dressing is the real deal -- nothing like the stuff from a bottle.
