The smoked beef brisket was the perfect amount of hot red meat for my wanting mouth, finished by a crusty bread toasted to perfection.
The famous & extremely delicious toasted ravioli was first invented here back in 1943. Portions are massive - be prepared to share or take home leftovers. Service is exceptional! This place is a must!
Pasta Carbonara is amazing. Extra Parmesan please.

They make good American beers and fantastic German beers. The zwickel here is a classic, spicy, crisp, and a nice unfiltered body. They also make an excellent pilsner and märzen! Lager paradise.

Gotta try: the blonde Zucker Weisse, a sour wheat beer that becomes transcendent with a splash of woodruff (a green syrup reminiscent of vanilla and chamomile) or raspberry syrup.
The street corn fritters and side are both flippin’ awesome. Also, tacos: try them all. And leave room for the churros. Ask for a spoon so you can eat the chocolate.

All the beers are excellent. The Katy is always a solid choice. Also love the Hibiscus Witt.
Holy busy tap room! It's justified though - the Liquid Spiritual Delight (LSD) with coffee is wonderful! This is worth the visit, for sure.
Wow. They know how to do breakfast well. I consider myself a breakfast connoisseur, and they blew me away. Skilled home cooking. They also catered for my work, and were fabulous. Highly recommend!

Definitely a place you want to try! Our waitress was very obliging, and the food was so unique -- a pleasant surprise! As others suggested, the combination platters are the way to go.
Share the vegetarian sampler, the single serves two and the double serves four.
The veggie combo is awesome.
The fried fish taco and street corn are all you need. You could complement with guac and a marg too.
I personally love the street corn, the salsa, and the chorizo and the fish tacos!
The tacos were great and the coctails were delicious. Stay till after 10 and they have a late night happy hour menu.

This is my favorite TGS bar. The owners and staff are cool as hell, and care about their patrons. They've opened the bar on request for a soccer match at 7am before. The new draft selection is great!
