Usually much quieter than the rest of Copacabana. Three or four good hotels in the area and I recommend Leme Palace Hotel.

Very quiet ! I love ! If you feel very noisy at Copacabana, this place must be for your favourite. Cost for taxi from Jardim Oceanico is about 15 real. Local buses to near beach is also available too
Best beach in Rio de Janeiro. Be prepared to walk a bit on the rocks to get there. It's just ten minutes walking to get to Paradise!

More peaceful than Ipanema/Copacabana. So if you hate crowds like I do, come head over here. You'll have a nice, relaxing time
