Glazed donuts, preferably right out of the oven, so they're hot and will melt in your mouth (Yum!), are the best thing here. I definitely recommend this!

Sub Rosa bakes nearly perfect croissants, but they also know how to add the right ingredients to elevate the humble roll. Our favorite version is the salami and cheese croissant.
best bread on East Coast, wood fired, handmade, delicious and their pastries are buttery and rich - try a borek and fruit tarte for lunch with a classic loaf to go.
The caneles are a wonderful gluten free treat. Sunday morning brings excellent, eclectic donuts!
Absolutely awesome! Breakfast Sammy was delicious on fresh baked English muffin. GF fig cake was heaven as was the lavender grey tea.

I like the ambiance of The Whisk Bakery a lot. It's a small bakery/coffee shop where I can seat down and work or read. Free WiFi and a variety of delicious pastries.

Best croissants in town. You can choose from chocolate, almond & butter. Get there at 7am, when they are fresh out of the oven. Go on Mondays for $5 French wine by the glass.

The mennonites make these amazing donuts right in front of you. It's as if the baby Jesus has perched on your tongue. They're simply amazing!
I waited 30 min for Mrs. Yoder's doughnuts, and it was sooooo worth it!
Literally everything is good here! The bagels from Kitchenette are amazing, but expect a long wait. The donuts and taco truck are also fantastic. One of my favorite farmer's markets ever!

The Feta, Spinach, Provolone, and Egg sandwich on a Croissant was the first food article I ever had in Richmond. I get it every time I come here now. I think it used to be a dollar cheaper tho.
