This tacqueria is an absolute treasure. The food is authentic. The pozole (spicy chicken soup with hominy) is maybe the best hangover cure ever. Can't go wrong with beef tacos, chiles relleno etc

Cash only, closest ATM is on Girard. Get the elote (grilled corn), and basically everything else on their menu can't be beat.
Best lunch spot in Philly. The staff is wonderful and the food is delish! They have wonderful specials for happy hour and game days! Shack up with the "Shack"!

The prime rib sandwich special was a home run. Thinly sliced, melted in your mouth. Add a bit of the horseradish for an extra kick in the palate. Way too many good options here.

Who remembers this location in the 90's as Friendly's Restaurant. I use to go there and get their Mint chocolate icecream monster.
Great place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Excellent service and prices. Try the chicken parmesan or chicken croquettes. The salad bar has an excellent selection of fresh items.
Classic Americana, this diner is classic South Philadelphia. This is well-oiled Diner machine! Expect quick food and friendly service.
