Check out the dancing animals clock at the north end of the zoo. It moves and chimes on the hour and half hour between 8 AM & 6 PM each day.
Make sure you know when the sea lion feeding times are! Easily the best attraction at this zoo.

Home to Electric Zoo and many other music festivals and concerts, you really feel like you've escaped the hustle and bustle of the city when you come here.
Memorable not because Electric Zoo '10 was the greatest music festival. Memorable because of how dirty we felt afterwards from all the dust. Black boogers galore!

The bathroom in the Children's Zoo is the cleanest in the Zoo.
The children's zoo is sweet , very interactive buildout but also very small. Takes about 30 min to see it all.
If you're just going to the Zoo, walk in through 5th Ave. You'll find it much faster than walking coming in through Central Park Dr.
This store is a goddamn zoo, don't go there for repairs if you value your time try one of the smaller stores

kind of a hike from our office but it's my favorite WF in the city despite it being a zoo most of the time. there is also a beer 'garden' in the basement where you can eat and drink.
