Vegan soba & daikon mochi are delicious
All the soba is excellent, but the Japanese curry dip is other worldly.

We found more than a soba place: a genuinely authentic Japanese restaurant covering the whole gamut from excellent appetizers over soba and sashimi to the best Japanese desserts we had in a long time.

Best Uni Soba I've had so far.
Pork belly, chicken meatball, soba, and all forms of tofu are great. Am a big fan of the chocolate souffle too.
Delicious soba noodles wrapped in egg, and the natto kimchi were fantastic. The tuna in ponzu sauce was fresh, but the portion was a little small. The chicken donburi bowl was lacking in flavor.

The Seiro soba noodles was refreshing and the Salmon Saikyo was marinated and grilled so well it literally melted in my mouth. The sashimi 3ten mori and katsu toju were good as well! Definitely worth!

Love the Shima Hokke. It's a homey meal, fish like your mom would make. I always get it and it's always good! Also for lunch, I love the Mini Salmon Don set that comes with a side of soba noodles.
Their Seiman Soba (cold soba) is very good - homemade! But they don't have a la carte sashimi.

Lunch specials are great! They have 3 different portions of soba - small, medium, and large for the same price. I got the medium and couldn't finish. Don't b greedy and waste food!

Delicious donburis and cheap too! Both the sake ikura and sukiyaki are great. Worth it to get the soba soup and a salad with your don.
Delicious soba. Multiple options. Also serves obanzai. Such a treat. I got the cold soba with fresh tun and cucumbers in a ginger soy glaze. I will be back to try more!

I'm so glad this is now closer to work. This location has great soba and donburi, if for some reason you don't want the excellent ramen. The kakuni ramen with Filipino style pork is amazing.

Their dinner menu, of course, is delicious. But try their Sat / Sun only brunch. Highly recommend steak and eggs or the uni soba.
The Uni Soba, a cold noodle soup with plenty of sea urchin and salmon roe, is delicious: makes you feel like a whale shark tasting the ocean.

Hidden gem in SoHo. Both omasakes are great. The 9 course includes 2 more appetizers and higher grade dishes. Homemade soba is offered if you're not full.
Loved the goma tofu and chef's homemade soba! The unagi was way over-grilled unfortunately.
Definitely do the chefs tasting menu here (Omakase) - I did 10 dishes. Just amazing and so worth the experience. Final rice dish here had two kinds of uni from both coasts!
The ramen is bomb. Green tea ice cream cups are only like a dollar. Pick up some tea, soba and things you can't find anywhere else.
The lunch specials are excellent and fairly priced. The grocery selection is one of the best in the city for Japanese products. The oyakodon and beef soba are my favorites.
