Do the Save Our Cemeteries guided tour ($20) or buy their excellent guide ($5) and support preservation of this place. Marie Laveau is said to be buried here. A magnetic place. I felt safe.

The history tour is the way to go! Make sure to visit the Counting House for some beautiful portraits and to see original brick and iron.
