I ordered Gumbo that was delicious... ...and a Sausage poboy...that was delicious...my boyfriend had the seafood platter that I was able to taste the oyster on and they were delicious as well...
Order the gumbo of the day (whatever it may be), housemade spaghetti w/ guanciale & fried poached egg, the amazing Muscovy duck leg confit and the banana brown butter tart for dessert. Flawless menu!

Like an old French brasserie but with a NOLA twist. Food absolutely delicious, from the rich, smokey gumbo to the magnificent reinvented spaghetti alla carbonara (📷). Not cheap but worth every cent.

This is a fun, unpretentious little bar/restaurant on Decatur. They make a great seafood gumbo.
The locals say the gumbo and rabbit & sausage jambalaya are the best in town! Make sure you bring your ID- it's 21+ only and they are strict!

The Mae's Filè Gumbo and Ètouffee is AMAZING!! The Debris is also amazing but get lots of napkins. Worth the small wait!!! Line looks scarier than it is. Moves quickly

Gumbo was excellent, couchon de lait very garlicky, yummy, and huge! The star of the meal was the Chocolate melting cake with chicory coffee ice cream- amazing!! We might have to come to get it again!

Get the torchon of foie, the sweetbreads are to die for, and the death by gumbo. Skip the stuffy dining room and sit at the bar - Brian is awesome. the Peter Lauer Reisling it interesting.
