Graham J.: The Hall of Transportation remains my favorite exhibit in this museum. Of particular note: the 1950s-era Chicago El Train car.
Military Discounts Central: So many great exhibits here! Possibly the best museum in DC that features all aspects of American history such as the military past and present, show business, entertainment, and just so much more.
Abigail Lougher: Loved this place. The shops were pretty great! This is a great museum. I loved the transportation exhibit.
Shay: Free museum. Great exhibits. But usually a little crowded. With long lines to rest rooms.
Christine L: Try to go early. It gets pretty packed in the afternoon. Great exhibits. My faves were Exploring the Planets, Amelia Earhart, and the one w/ the ISS.
Jenna Rose Robbins: Possibly my favorite of all the Smithsonian museums, as there's more interaction and the exhibits are — pardon the pun — out of this world.
Architect of the Capitol (AOC): United States Botanic Garden exhibits span 150 million years, the range of global environments, as well as botany, economy and culture all the ways plants are important to how we live. Read more.
Derek Fromson: Amazing free train exhibit if you happen to come during the holiday season. 2013's theme was World's Fair exhibits from the past. Mini replicas of famous Washingtoninan landmarks add a nice touch.
Affinia Hotel Collection: Located on the Capitol Grounds, the Botanic Garden features a variety of living exhibits and seasonal installments with environmental and educational features in the National Garden.

Jana: I loved the buddhist exhibition. This is a smaller museum, but rich in asian art.
Sri V: Amazing rotating exhibits
Sofia Case: Don't overlook this museum! The Japanese Rinpa screens, Chinese bronzes, Islamic ceramics and Indian statuettes are breathtaking. You can come for The Peacock Room but the Asian art is well worth it.
