The dry rub ribs are the best in Tennessee, nay, the universe. Smoked mac 'n cheese is phenomenal also.
Finally found good BBQ in Nashville. Located in the nicest area too. Get the brisket or pork platter with mac & cheese. Slaw is good too... made without mayo.

Good, can't-go-wrong barbecue. Pretty quick service too. Got stuck here in a super heavy downpour, so we indulged in several rounds of drinks. Try the pulled pork, the fried pickles and the ribs.

You always know a good BBQ joint when there are paper towel rolls on the tables. Highly recommend the brisket. They smoke in house and have counter and takeout service.

The brisket, pork shoulder, and corn was amazing.. If you eat spicy don't be afraid of the XXX Spicy sauce it's tasty but not too spicy. The Mac and cheese was not anything great.
Get a combo with 3 meats, everything is delicious. heavenly: ribs with 7 different sauces available, pork shoulder, beef brisket, mac and cheese. Okay: potato salad, apples, sausages. Bad: coleslaw
Cheese biscuits are divine. I would eat these all day if I could. But you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Personal favorites: pulled pork and baby back ribs with mac and cheese and slaw.

This location is the newest location and the restaurant is absolutely awesome. I recommend the beef brisket and take some time sit down and enjoy it there...
It's a pricey option, but the three meat sampler plate is a great way to grab a taste of the various BBQ Cawthon's offers. Great food!

Honey fire BBQ chicken, creamed corn, hash brown casserole, creamed spinach all excellent. Fried okra and country fried steak are mediocre. Kids chicken fingers can feed two.
