Fantastic spicy yellowtail and spicy tuna rolls...
Easily my new favorite sushi joint! Had the spicy yellowtail, spicy salmon, spicy albacore and the off-menu Obama roll (all handrolls). UH-mazing!!!
Spicy Tuna Handroll is my fav and please try the yellow tail or red sniper (the sniper just melted away on my tongue) hmmm definitely like music in your mouth ;) the chef's are amazing !!
Everything is so delicious! Mexican shrimp, Yellowtail and jalapeño, spicy scallop, house roll-ALL DELICIOUS! sit in the bar for drink specials and tapas menu.
Recommended to order: kobe beef tacos, salmon sashimi, yellowtail with jalapeño, black cod with miso, rock shrimp, spicy tuna roll, and for dessert bento box.
Fancy place with a very elegant decoration. The staff is really friendly. Try the yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño, the mushroom salad, and for dessert the pistachio souffle.

Jeremy is fantastic. Get the serrano-mandarin martini, yellowtail with jalapeño, baked crab hand rolls, steak and asparagus and end with the spicy tuna on crispy rice. And you're welcome. So good.
It isn't my favorite Japanese fusion restaurant, but it's still very good. Miso broiled black cod, crab hand rolls, spicy tuna on crispy rice and yellowtail sashimi are all great.

Pretty much everything here is great.. I would recommend Creamy rock shrimps, spicy tuna with crispy rice, yellowtail with jalapeño, and of course SUSHI
5 huge amazing hand rolls for less than $20. Loving the yellowtail hand roll.
Always get the 5 hand rolls for the best deal and sub out the crab meat for either the yellowtail or toro and never pick cucumber over scallops of you're an idiot.
6 roll set was pretty filling. it's served in the order on the menu. toro and yellowtail were the mostest.

Really delicious and unassuming place. The salmon and albacore sushi were my favorite, along with the yellowtail carpaccio. The yellowtail collar as also divine.

Daichan is a true Los Angeles treasure. Their food is tasty, beautiful and filling. It's not your average sushi place, rather it's home style Japanese food. The décor is fun and service is excellent.
