José Arellano: Order a Cevada (I think that's how you spell it) to drink & get some pupusas revueltas to eat! Also, the platanos con frijoles y crema on the side!
Andrew Sorcini: Great pupusas! Try the pupusa revuelta. Don't forget the platanos con crema y frijoles!

Nicole Muniz: Frijoles con queso + shrimp tacos are nutters delicious! Ask for their hot sauce!
AJ: Reasonably priced. I've tried the Bistek en Salsa Roja, Mole Poblano, and Frijoles/ Queso. Quesadillas are very good too. Sangria was average.
Andy: Get the sampler platter. The veggie sampler tacos looked like mini works of art. So good!

Daniel Ramirez: Tamales are always dank, super-stuffed, and never dry! Tamale breakfast is crazy good. Carnitas just melt, so tender. Also, the beans are out of this world. A true East LA classic.
Jason Berti: SPIKE TV FILMING A REALITY SHOW INSIDE THIS WEEK!
The BigB: Genuine and great Mexican food, try the tamales, of course! AND the coffee is fantastic, with just a hint of cinnamon!

Leo Cardona: One of if not the best place to get Pupusas in LA! The Platanos are amazing as well!
Heber Gonzalez: I've asked other Salvadoreans, "what's your favorite pupuseria outside El Salvador?" they reply... "HANDS DOWN, MOLCAJETES" :) best pupusas outside El Salvador... Casamientos so good too/)
Orlando Llampallas: Best pupusas in echo park!
Mary L: The must-visit spot on Olvera St: get the lengua (tongue) and al pastor tacos. The restaurant is tiny with five or six tables, so get your order to go and enjoy your meal in the park instead.
Trina Unzicker: *This* is the place to go on Olivera Street. Forget about fancier places - this is more authentic. Little seating, so go during an off-hour or take it to go. Love the tamales, enchiladas & beans.
Matt R: Tacos de papa are the best! Also the green salsa is bomb...
