A wonderful place for people watching on a sunny day or as a romantic meeting place at dusk, but look out for the pigeons. A visit to the National Gallery is also highly recommended.

Today one of London’s most important contemporary art galleries, the Hayward is named after Sir Isaac Hayward, Labour leader of the London County Council from 1947 until its abolition in 1965.
