The Florida Theatre originally opened to the public in 1927 as Jacksonville’s 15th largest movie theatre. 1956 Elvis Presley played one if his first headlining concerts on an indoor stage here.

Been here a lot by boat and always after kayaking. I don't get bad service. Must be other peoples attitudes toward the staff. Food is good and not expensive. Live music on the deck
I got the salmon and it was fantastic! The food was great and the atmosphere was fun. There was a live band there and beautiful outdoor seating!

Little chilly in winter, sit by the fire if you're not eating! The Dusty Boot cocktail is a delicious take on a whiskey sour. Peach Julep is pretty heavy on the Maker's Mark, less so on the "julep".
