ELS Language Centers: Great people watching on a fun outdoor patio, but it’s small and usually crowded so you might try going in the early afternoon. They serve generous portions, so share! Meals $10 to $20.
Alex S.: Excellent gyros, but leave some room for dessert, esp. kataifi and loukoumades. Ask for freshly baked loukoumades, if possible; they are sinfully delicious!
CultureMap Houston: The plates are huge and the side dishes are also very generous. The souvlaki and kebabs are some of the popular dishes. The fries are a must, and the lentil soup is quite good, too.
