Worth driving in torrential rain to finally try this spot. Had one of the signature dishes (catfish & grits); so good! The GM, Terry, is handsome and friendly. Very welcoming place with good soulfood.

Excellent mahi mahi salad with a touch of spice. The jicama and flat brad tossed in adds great texture. But really, this menu is delicious overall.
Their huge menu of burgers (everything from beef and buffalo to salmon and seared tuna) and tandoori pizzas on naan are something to try!
Get the tuna burger! Grilled. 😋 can't go wrong with their sweet potato or regular fries. New favorite late night spot! Serves breakfast food too!👍
Try the Yokai Berry - smokey fried dinosaur kale with sweets pears and yokai berries...not ur everyday salmon sashimi dish...sooo interesting!
Try the Machi Cure - suggested to eat like a nacho...pick up yucca chip, scoop yellowtail on top, place asian pear on top, then shove it in ur mouth!!! totally awesome!
Happy hour is every weekday and offers some of Uchi's favorites — machi cure with smoked yellowtail, for example, and the skewers of pork belly called bacon sen — for a drastically reduced price.

Bruh. They got the hot sauce at the table ready to go. Catfish was good. Bread pudding was frfr. And they do their version of crab cakes in an empenada and that made me think of Step Brothers.

Wow! Stopped by here on our way to Galveston, based on 4sq tips. The food was fantastic! Absolutely loved the peppered tuna, tuna tartar (half order was perfect for two) and garlic white tuna.
Steamed bun appetizer. Sashimi is excellent. Love at first sight roll is fabulous.
You MUST come for weekend brunch at least once! The salmon benedict with their spicy breakfast potatoes are devine and the gingerbread pancakes are a real treat! Don't miss it! 10-2pm weekends only
The salmon burger comes smothered with the most delicious dill sauce I've ever tasted. Ask for the sweet potato fries because it's off the menu.

The bartender knows how to make an Old Fashioned which many bar tenders do not. I've had zucchini basil soup, seafood risotto, halibut, soufflé-stuffed crepe, tuna tartare and all were delicious
This papadeaux does not have enough ingrediants in their bar and they run out of fish and crabs.
