Pierogies are amazing!! The borscht is too :) Can't really go wrong with anything here!
The Ukrainian borscht, potato pierogi, and meat-stuffed cabbage: all excellent. Comfort food at its best.

Order the pork, pork & crab, & super spicy soup dumplings and eat in that order. The pork & crab are favs, but the spicy is also very flavorful with its inclusion of Asian chili sauce.

Get the traditional pork dumplings there and bring home some frozen dumplings for home. The hot monster and cold monster sauces really add a lot of flavor.

Go with friends so you can try as many dishes as possible. My faves were the dan dan noodle, dumplings, and fish with black bean sauce.

Best pierogis in the East Village
The blintzes are seriously the best I've had in the city. Pierogis are also tasty & I'm a sucker for the old school stuffed cabbage.
Really great fried cheese pierogis! The chicken noodle soup has big chunks of fresh chicken, and the staff is really nice!
Decorated like a church community center; seriously some of the best perogies. I don't joke about perogies.

Came with low expectations adjusted for the apparent clientele, but pleasantly surprised. Grilled Cheese brilliant, Tapioca dumplings refreshing, Pork Ribs a treat. Portion def on the small side
Standouts were Banh It Ram (Crispy Mochi Dumplings) andBanh Khot (Turmeric Griddle Cakes) with mushroom and the tapioca coconut dessert. Also good was green papaya salad, ribs. Much more to try!
Go for the challah grilled cheese and pierogi. PS - this is also the skinniest restaurant in NYC.
Get the perogies or an omelette, and if you're craving something sweet, challah French toast is the way to go. Grab a fresh juice on your way out, and enjoy the friendliest service ever.

Great underground sake bar. The wasabi dumplings are spicy but delicious.
They have an extensive selection of sake from the Rihaku to the Kikusui. Just as popular is the yummy lineup of appetizers, one can’t go wrong with the Shrimp Dumplings or Japanese Pancakes.
