A solid option for brunch in East Village. Both the French Toast and Bagel and Lox are great. Comes with Mud drip coffee or tap beer.
Exotic coffee shops like this are one of the reasons I love the city. A grungy coffee shop, bar and outdoor patio place all in one. The mocha MUD makes a perfect mid-afternoon Saturday coffee.
Go all the way to the back, the very back to find an enclosed garden that feels great in winter or summer. And order the rosemary chicken sandwich. Yes they have more than good coffee here.
