Located in the Spring Arcade Building (right by Guisados). As someone who is obsessed with ice cream Hazelnut & Dark Chocolate sea salt is the way to go. They also have coffee and pints to go as well.
Best part: espresso to drink and gelato to eat. Make it a habit.

Salad for breakfast? Yes! Their traditional breakfast fare is excellent, but we always order at least one salad. Our fave is the crunchy, colorful Brassica Salad. Beets + Avocado Salad is also great.
So cute and delicious! Everything looks amazing. Especially the fried chicken and waffles. It's counter service, but seats open surprisingly fast.

The greatest sandwich place in LA. Pork Belly Bahn Mi pro-tip: scoop the bread and ask for a side of Pork Belly juice. Side of Curried Cauliflower Cous Cous. That's all I ever order, ever.

Kouign amann is delicious, with a buttery sugar filling. Macarons are hit or miss, salted caramel has hard, crunchy shells but the other flavors have the right texture. Zucchini soup is very good!
The food is good yet very expensive. A salad, which is not that large, and a drink will just be under 20 dollars.

Well know cupcakes for a reason - they are delicious. So many flavors to enjoy, several that are seasonal or only on rotation once to twice a week.

The breakfast sandwich, birdie bites, cinnamon toast crunch donut, maple bacon donut is what we ordered and was delicious.
They give out donut samples, lots of them. The Spicy Fried Chicken sandwich is a great start to the day if you feel like skipping the egg sandwiches. It's not too spicy and the chicken is perfect.

Super simple tacos: meat, cilantro / onion, sauce, tortilla. Tacos Al Pastor are phenomenal and spicy enough to make you sweat a little.
Eclectic big name permanent contemporary collection. The special exhibits (in particular Soul of a Nation) are great. Cool building both on inside and outside. Be sure to eat at Otium when visiting.

I recommend this place. Although located in an "edgy" part of DTLA, it's worth it. Delicious northern Italian cuisine. Hand made pasta (owners are Italian). Nice ambiance. Prices are reasonable.

That's the best chicken wings place in DTLA. Also it gray for late night bite. But don't walk there take an uber or drive.

Yet another gem by Blue Bottle. The location has one of the most unique atmosphere among the coffee chain. A great place to relax for hours along with a pour-over!
The coffee is really better here than at most other places, and the atmosphere is much less commercial than most other coffee places. I can relax here.
I try to visit every location of blue bottle in the LA area. This is by far the most fascinating.
