I recommend this place. Although located in an "edgy" part of DTLA, it's worth it. Delicious northern Italian cuisine. Hand made pasta (owners are Italian). Nice ambiance. Prices are reasonable.

I've been going to this cafe since 2009, and this place has got to be the best, the food and drinks are really decent! Its just the best friendliest customer service so far in Downtown, LA!
Our first experience was so completely awesome for these self-professed food snobs. The pizza is SO flavorful. The housemate tiramisu is worthy of being sold in Italy. Even the bread is scrumptious.
Sat at the bar since I was dining alone, and received warm attentive service. They'll make a half & half pizza if you can't decide which one to try, so go ahead and try two!

My favorite Italian restaurant in DTLA. If you never tried Cappellini Puttanesca please try it. You can ad chicken to it. Also, if you hate cheese cake please try one, you won't be regret!
