One of my favorite restaurants in town. You can't beat the classic southern food with an upscale twist. The buttermilk fried chicken and the seafood grits are to die for.

Was a bit hesitant to try the crabcakes - I'm from Maryland...we're always suspect of crabcakes outside of the Chesapeake. Poogans' crabcakes are GREAT - different from what you'd expect in Maryland
Beignets! Mimosas. And the Holy City Croque Madame is amazing. Service is very friendly. Atmosphere is great. Patio is fun and relaxing (plenty of fans to keep you cool)

Black bean burger, pulled pork sandwich, lowcountry sloppy joe, Greek wrap. Never had a bad sandwich here.

The French toast, bacon, omelettes, home fries. Take your pick and the people are so friendly. To have great fresh food and great service is the best. I always come here when in Charleston.
