We liked Fort Sumter, it was very educational. Try going the last boat of the day. They lower the American flag and the commentary is quite interesting. We also loved the boat ride back and forth.
If you like architecture, this is a wonderful tour. You can take all of the photographs that you like which is a plus! There is no furniture iside the home; this is an unrestored plantation house.
We love the Charleston Museum! Such a gem. Their locally-focused exhibits are always fun and amazing.
Very interesting. Our tour guide Stephan was terrific - he shared a lot of fascinating history within a brief 30 minute tour. Don't miss the exhibits on the top and main floors.
Great place to brush up on American History or see a Pre-Revolutionary Dungeon (especially at night on the Ghost & Dungeon Tour!)
