DailyCandy: This comfy spot is as close to authentic Kyoto-style as you can get. Daily obanzai (tapas) is a must; the chirashi — a heaping bowl of sashimi, veggies, omelet, and rice — is one of the best around.
CITY GRIT: The Obanzai (Kyoto-style Japanese Tapas) changes daily but has never disappointed us! Neither has the Agadashi Tofu, Shrimp Toji Maki, or the Beef Kakuni! (Walk-ins Only)
miles lennon: The daily tapas makes coming here really unique and interesting. The sashimi plate isn't huge the quality is fantastic
